Graspable Math will pick up the smallest possible subexpression when you start dragging a symbol. For example, dragging the "2" in "3+2x" will pick up the factor "2". To pick up the whole product "2x", either drag the "+" symbol next to it, or hit the spacebar after you picked up the "2". On touch devices, drag a term and tap other terms to add them to the selection.
